BBG&G Advertising Wins Seven Awards for Excellence in Creative Services

Campbell Hall, N.Y. (July 18, 2018) — BBG&G Advertising Inc. has been honored with seven distinct awards from Hermes Creative Awards, the Service Industry Advertising Awards, and the AVA Digital Awards for their website design, promotional videos, client services, and marketing campaigns.

The Hermes Awards is an international competition for creative professionals that has grown to one of the largest of its kind. Winners of the Hermes Awards range from individual communicators to Fortune 500 companies. BBG&G was awarded a Gold Hermes Award for their client Dutchess County Tourism’s Facebook Live video from The Culinary Institute of America that showcased the site’s unique features and history and responded in real time to audience questions.

Additionally, BBG&G was also awarded a Gold Hermes Award for the Explore Rockland County website for Rockland County Tourism. This website offers extensive listings for local points of interest and interactive features to help plan a trip to Rockland in a simple and aesthetically pleasing layout.

The Service Industry Advertising Awards specifically and exclusively recognizes the achievements of the communications industry. BBG&G was awarded an SIAA Gold Award for their innovative virtual reality video for their client Dutchess County Tourism. This video offers a 360-degree view of key points of interest in Dutchess County. “VR video is an important cutting-edge tool that allows Dutchess Tourism to engage audiences in a new, high-tech way that particularly appeals to millennial travelers,” said Dutchess Tourism, Inc. President & CEO Mary Kay Vrba.

BBG&G was also awarded an SIAA Gold Award for their annual report on the Mid-Hudson Regional Economic Development Council, and an SIAA Silver Award for their integrated marketing campaign for Rockland Tourism’s Chinese Tourism initiative.

The AVA Digital Awards is an international competition that recognizes excellence across a wide range of works by creative professionals in the digital communication field. BBG&G’s virtual reality video was again honored with a Gold Award. AVA Digital also presented BBG&G with an Honorable Mention Award for the unique China Microsite from the Explore Rockland County webpage that has translated travel tools for international travelers.
