Ambassadors provide a valuable member-to-member connection, understanding member’s needs. Each new member is assigned an Ambassador to help them maximize their value from the Chamber and network. They frequently engage with existing members to ensure they are actively engaging in opportunities. These dedicated members benefit from being the first to meet new members and visit member organizations. In addition, Ambassadors help shape the membership through outreach and referrals.

Further, the Orange Chamber of Commerce will commit to ensure that the organization’s Officers, Directors, committees, staff, programs, and initiatives are diverse and appropriately reflective of our values, the region, and investors we serve. To demonstrate and ensure the success of this commitment, the Orange County Chamber of Commerce has established a governance-focused Diversity and Inclusion Policy Board Charter within our Human Resources Committee to provide oversight and ensure effective application of the Chamber’s Diversity & Inclusion policies and practices, including but not limited to the Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Inclusion. Additionally, we continue to promote and support our Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Inclusion committee which works to ensure that our membership and overall business community of Orange County, and the Hudson Valley region, is educated, intentional and all barriers to participation are eliminated. These two committees work hand in hand to ensure that the Orange County Chamber of Commerce is a model for diversity, equity, accessibility and inclusion best practices, as well as a resource for successful implementation.
