      • This free and voluntary app utilizes secure technology to confirm an individual’s vaccination or recent negative COVID-19 test and could be a critical tool in our sector’s reopening. Developed with IBM, the Excelsior Pass is the first app of its kind in the U.S.

    • Summary of Reopening Timeline
      • Beginning March 26th: Indoor Family Entertainment Centers can open limited to 25% capacity. Please see detailed guidelines HERE.  The Governor’s announcement contains some key points:
        • Contact information must be collected from each party to inform contact tracing, if needed;
        • High-touch areas, attractions, and rides must be cleaned and disinfected frequently throughout the day;
        • Attractions must close if they cannot ensure distancing and be frequently cleaned/disinfected;
        • Sufficient staff must be deployed to enforce compliance with rules, including capacity, distancing and face coverings;
        • Tickets should be sold in advance, and entry/exit and waiting times should be staggered to avoid congestion;
        • Indoor areas must meet enhanced air filtration, ventilation and purification standards; and
        • Retail, food services and recreational activities must abide by all State-issued guidance.
      • Beginning April 1st:
        • Professional sports in large outdoor stadiums that hold 10,000 people or more will be allowed to reopen at 20% capacity.
          • Attendees must show proof of a recent negative test or completed vaccination series prior to entry and are subject to strict state guidance on face coverings, social distancing, and health screening.
        • Sports venues that hold 1,500 people indoors or 2,500 people outdoors can reopen
          • Capacity will be limited to 10% indoors and 20% outdoors.
          • Attendees must show proof of a recent negative test or completed vaccination series prior to entry and are subject to strict state guidance on face coverings, social distancing, and health screening.
        • Outdoor performing arts venues, including stadiums, that hold more than 2,500 people can reopen at 20% capacity
          • Attendees must show proof of a recent negative test or completed vaccination series prior to entry and are subject to strict state guidance on face coverings, social distancing, and health screening.
      • Beginning April 2nd: Event, Arts and Entertainment Venues Can Reopen, though detailed guidelines have not yet been issued.
        • Restricted to 33% capacity, up to 100 people indoors and up to 200 people outdoors
        • With proof of a negative COVID test prior to entry, capacity can increase up to 150 people indoors and up to 500 people outdoors
      • Beginning April 5th: 11PM Curfew Lifted for Casinos, Movie Theaters, Bowling Alleys, Billiard Halls, Gyms and Fitness Centers
      • Beginning April 9th: Outdoor Amusement Parks Can Open at 33% capacity though guidelines have not yet been issued

      • Large-Scale College Sports Venues Can Host Spectators at 10 Percent Indoor or 20 Percent Outdoor Capacity

    • SBA to Increase Lending Limit for COVID-19 Economic Injury Disaster Loans
      • The U.S. Small Business Administration is increasing the maximum amount small businesses and non-profit organizations can borrow through its COVID-19 Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program. Starting the week of April 6, 2021, the SBA is raising the loan limit for the COVID-19 EIDL program from 6-months of economic injury with a maximum loan amount of $150,000 to up to 24-months of economic injury with a maximum loan amount of $500,000.
