Local Golfers Come Out in Full Swing To Support the Orange County Chamber of Commerce

Goshen, N.Y. (September 18, 2019) – On Tuesday, September 17, 2019, nearly 100 of the area’s business and community leaders played in the 21st Annual Orange Open Golf Tournament benefiting the Orange County Chamber of Commerce. Held on one of the most beautiful days of the year, players enjoyed an exciting day of networking and friendly competition at The Golf Club at Mansion Ridge in Monroe, N.Y.

The Orange Open Golf Tournament started with a thrilling helicopter golf ball drop courtesy of Independent Helicopters and FirstLight. Numbered balls were carefully dropped from the helicopter as it hovered above a hole. The winner, whose ball was closest to the pin, received a 50-50 cash-prize.

“This year’s event was a huge success,” shared Lynn Allen Cione, President and CEO of the Orange County Chamber of Commerce. “The Orange County Chamber of Commerce will continue to create an environment in which businesses can successfully thrive and reach their greatest potential thanks to the support of all the sponsors, players and volunteers that made this event possible.”

The team from TEG Federal Credit Union took home the Tournament trophy. Congratulations to Matthew Bannan; Scott McNally; Mike Rostanzo, realtor; and Scott Bonacic, attorney.
