Orange County Chamber of Commerce hosts another SOLD OUT Event!

The Orange County Chamber of Commerce is celebrating the success of another sold-out event.  The Chamber hosts a General Membership breakfast every second Thursday of every month.  Each month a different topic and speaker comes to speak to the Orange County Chamber members and guests, with an added opportunity of networking. Every breakfast is a success however records were set and then smashed for three consecutive breakfasts for November, December and kicking off the New Year for January.  The topics for each month were Economic Development, The State of the County and Legislative Panel, respectively.

The January breakfast called the “Legislative Breakfast” hosted Senator James Skoufis, Senator Jen Metzger, Assemblywoman Aileen Gunther, Assemblyman Karl Brabanec, Assemblyman Jonathan Jacobson and Assemblyman Colin Schmitt.  President Lynn Allen Cione served as moderator and asked questions presented to the panel by the Orange County Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee.  Questions were also asked by members and business owners in the audience.

Director of Events Catherine Lewis said: “I am always excited to see the registration numbers climb; the success has a lot to do with the speakers, the interesting topics and teamwork.”  Plans for the February breakfast, scheduled to be hosted at The Woodbury Common is expected to be another sold-out event.  “We want to continue with this momentum, and keep providing events that bring value to our members” she went on to say.  The success of this and every event is also due, in part, to the continued support from our sponsors.  The January “Legislative” breakfast was sponsored by St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital and The Promenade of Middletown.  President of the Orange County Chamber Lynn Allen Cione advises everyone to “register early and don’t miss out in joining the Orange County Chamber for all our events, every month.”
