CHESTER ACADEMY INTERNSHIP/MENTORING PROGRAM 2019-2020 PARTNERS WITH 22 BUSINESSES/ORGANIZATIONS

Mrs. Blaine, Internship Counselor, coordinates 31 student-interns in this prestigious and competitive program.

Student Spotlight: Orange County Sheriff’s Office 10-week Internship – During this 10-week internship, Mariah Dulgerian and Aurora Meinsen, watched and participated in many different training programs: crisis negotiation, viewing a K-9 bomb activity in a high school, physical entry exam for the police academy, and many other “real life” situations and activities. It gave them an opportunity to gain confidence and evaluate a possible career path.

Due to the success of the fall program, there will be another OC Sheriff’s internship starting in January 2020,sponsoring three additional Chester Academy student-interns.
