As anticipation for the opening of Gold’s Gym at the Galleria at Crystal Run builds, construction is underway within the upper level of the former Sears space.
Inside, drywall is being mounted on metal framework spanning the cavernous space. These walls will be the gym’s storefront, once the construction barricade comes down. The escalator that once carried shoppers between the upper and lower levels of Sears has been removed and its footprint filled in, separating the two floors of the space.
Gold’s Gym will have a presence in the Galleria well before the new location opens in January 2019, however. Beginning in August, interested shoppers will be able to sign up for memberships at a Gold’s Gym information center, which will be located on the lower level, near the Galleria’s Center Court. Memberships are already available online at joingoldsnow.com.
“With Gold’s Gym, as well as Urban Air Adventure Park, 110 Grill, and Allan’s Mediterranean Grill coming to the center, visitors will soon be able to shop, dine, play, and keep healthy,” said Galleria marketing director, Ethan Weber. “This destination will offer something for everyone.”
