Jennifer Echevarria, Esq., of Jacobowitz and Gubits Is Admitted to U.S. Supreme Court

WALDEN, NY – Jennifer Echevarria, attorney at Jacobowitz and Gubits, LLP, who practices employment and immigration law, along with eight (8) other alumni from Pace University School of Law, were admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States of America in Washington D.C. on December 4, 2018.

The alumni were admitted to practice law before all nine (9) of the Supreme Court Justices and were permitted to stay in the courtroom after admission to hear oral arguments in two (2) cases being heard by the Court that day.

Jennifer serves as a board member of the YMCA of Middletown and was recently recognized with the Leadership Award by the Latino Democratic Committee of Orange County.  She is also a Super Lawyers Upstate New York Rising Star for the past three (3) consecutive years, was recognized as an Orange County Rising Star in 2015, and is a past recipient of the Public Service Attorney Award from the Women’s Bar Association of Orange and Sullivan Counties.

Jennifer resides in Warwick with her son.

In addition to the U.S. Supreme Court, Jennifer is admitted to practice in the states of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, as well as the Southern District of New York.  She is a

member of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York where she serves as Co-Chair of the Legislative Committee.  She is also a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Women’s Bar Association of Orange and Sullivan Counties, Orange County Bar Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Each year only 5,000 attorneys in the nation are admitted to the United States Supreme Court.  Jennifer joins five other J&G attorneys that are admitted to the Supreme Court: Michele Babcock, Managing Partner,  Gerald J. Jacobowitz, Senior Partner; Benjamin Gailey, Partner; Howard Protter, Partner; and Kelly Pressler, Senior Counsel.
