Orange County Chamber December “State of the County” breakfast was standing room only.
Goshen, N.Y. – The Orange County Chamber of Commerce hosted another successful breakfast at the beautiful West Hills Country Club. The December breakfast featured the Deputy County Executive Harry Porr, who delivered the “State of the County” address and Director of Tourism Amanda Dana who discussed the new and exciting updates with Tourism in Orange County for 2019.
The December breakfast was sold out within days with everyone anticipating an exciting overview of the “State of the County.” Orange County is growing and everyone in attendance was looking forward to learning about the exciting updates 2019 will bring. The breakfast was kicked off with a musical holiday medley by the talented children and community members of The Bruderhof Community, to the delight of everyone. “There is so much to be thankful for the holiday season, and living in the fastest growing county in the Hudson Valley, the fact that we live here is something to be thankful for,” said Lynn Allen Cione, President of the Orange County Chamber of Commerce. “We look forward to a successful 2019 for our members and all the businesses in Orange County, and we are here to support them every step of the way” added Cione.
Deputy Executive Porr presented the County “by the numbers” and Director Dana welcomed everyone to what is going to be “an exciting time in Orange County” she invited everyone to view a small clip (provided below) that provided a brief highlight of the beauty and possibilities in Orange County.
January OC Chamber breakfast is scheduled for January 10, 2019, at 7:30 am at Anthony’s Pier 9. Director of Events Catherine Lewis encourages everyone to get their tickets early because tickets are already being purchased and she anticipates another “sold out” breakfast.
