Ribbon cutting and Grand Opening Ceremony held at Crystal Run

ribbon-cuttingAbout 200 elected officials, local business and community leaders, and healthcare professionals joined the principals from Crystal Run Healthcare today to celebrate the ribbon cutting/grand opening of Crystal Run’s new 66,000 square foot multi-specialty medical office at 1200 Route 399 in the  Town of Newburgh.

The office, which started seeing patients two weeks ago, offers more than 40 specialties including cardiology, dermatology, gastroenterology, OB/GYN, pediatrics, psychiatry, rheumatology and more. It also features an urgent care center, two-room endoscopy suite, infusion center and diagnostic testing services.

The innovative design of the facility was adapted from the Everett Clinic in Smokey Point in Seattle, WA, using LEAN principles to promote patient safety, functionality, efficiency and service excellence, according to a Crystal Run Healthcare spokesman.

Most of the speakers at today’s ceremony spoke about the “vision and commitment” of Crystal Run Healthcare founder, Managing Partner and CEO Dr. Hal Teitelbaum. Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney said that Crystal Run Healthcare is “unlocking the key to the future of healthcare” and described CRHC as the “model for how we will reform healthcare.”

Dr. Teitelbaum noted that “it’s what we do for people, not what we do to people, that counts.” Adding that “nothing comes before the patient,” he provided his personal contact information and invited everyone to contact him directly if they need help with any kind of medical issue.

Crystal Run Healthcare will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2016.
