Maybrook, NY— January 10, 2022 — The Orange County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the appointment of their newest Chairman of the Board, Eric Maldonado, of Montgomery. Maldonado has been in the role of Vice Chair for two years as well as past Chairman for the Orange County Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals committee, past co-chair of the Chamber’s Annual Gala and Orange Open committees. In addition to his service to the Orange County Chamber of Commerce, Eric was honored as an Orange County Rising Star in 2012, a graduate of Leadership Orange Legendary Class of 2014 where he received the Leadership Commitment Award, is also a member of the Board of Directors for Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, the past Chairman for the Inspire Foundation and member of the International Intellectual Property Society in New York City. Eric is a dedicated member of the community where he lives and works as a co-owner of multiple Verizon Wireless Zone stores- a National Premium Retailer with locations in Newburgh, New Windsor, Montgomery, and a fourth location in Great Barrington, MA.
Mr. Maldonado states, “As Chairman, I look forward to continue building the business relationship factor and connecting as many businesses as I can with each other. The chamber will continue to grow with inspiration and that inspiration will come from the membership and the success stories they created showing why the Orange County Chamber is so valuable”.
Past Chair, Marcel Martino of Adapt of the Hudson Valley, will remain on the Executive Committee as Vice Chair along with Linda Muller of Cornerstone Family Healthcare, remaining on the Executive Committee as Past Chair.
The Orange County Chamber of Commerce is also happy to welcome new board members in 2022. Ryan Coakley of Merrill Lynch, Nathan Jackson of Central Hudson, Jeremy Landolfa of New York Life Insurance and Nicole Tompkins of Rhinebeck Bank have all been nominated by their peers and elected by the Board to be added to the Orange County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
